About The Position

Echelon Risk + Cyber is seeking a Technical Project Manager to own the discovery, onboarding, and implementation phase of vCISO and managed services engagements. From contract handoff through transition to ongoing service delivery, the role translates contracted scope into actionable plans, coordinates internal and client resources, manages communication and documentation, and drives dependencies to completion. The position is the primary client contact during onboarding and coordinates cybersecurity advisory and technical service teams to operationalize purchased services. The Project Manager works across vCISO, managed services, engineering, advisory, procurement, and other teams. Responsibilities include planning and tracking milestones, maintaining client communication and engagement records, coordinating technical and operational readiness, establishing governance and reporting arrangements, and handing engagements over to ongoing delivery teams. Success may be measured by on-time milestones, readiness and transition quality, client satisfaction, documentation and handoff completeness, risk and dependency management, and improvements to onboarding efficiency and time-to-value.

  • Approximately 4–6+ years of project management, implementation, onboarding, or client delivery experience.
  • Relevant experience in cybersecurity consulting, GRC, managed security services, professional services, or a closely related environment.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong client-facing and executive presence.
  • Strong organization, documentation, and attention to detail across multiple simultaneous engagements.
  • Proactive ownership, accountability, follow-through, risk identification, and appropriate escalation skills.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to reinforce solution value and recognize additional client needs or expansion opportunities.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
