About The Position

FutureFit AI is seeking a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead day-to-day delivery on complex implementations within the Growth & Sales team. This new role is crucial for strengthening delivery in environments with multiple stakeholders, deep integrations, and custom development. The TPM will manage the delivery plan and execution across internal teams, customer teams, and third-party partners. This role requires a blend of extreme project management rigor and technical depth, thinking like a systems integrator to translate business needs into integration architectures and drive programs to successful completion. The TPM will partner closely with Customer Success and Build (Product, Data, and Engineering) leadership, and will play a key role in shaping the playbook for complex public-sector implementations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years working on complex, cross-functional technology implementations.
  • At least 3 years in a leadership role with clear ownership of scope, timeline, and delivery outcomes.
  • Real technical depth: ability to read API specs, understand integration patterns, SSO/IAM, data-pipeline tradeoffs, and engage in substantive technical conversations.
  • Extreme project management rigor: a system for planning, tracking, and communicating, evidenced by artifacts like milestone plans, RAID logs, decision logs, and status reports.
  • Demonstrated experience in multi-stakeholder environments (customers, internal teams, third-party partners).
  • Executive-level stakeholder management experience (up to C-suite or agency leadership).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High agency and comfort with ambiguity, with the ability to help define processes and best practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience delivering technology implementations to state or federal government agencies, especially in workforce, labor, education, or social services.
  • Familiarity with WIOA, RESEA, TAA, or other federal workforce funding programs and their reporting/compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing systems integrators or sub-contractors.
  • Working knowledge of typical enterprise integration surfaces: SSO (SAML/OIDC), IAM, REST/GraphQL APIs, ETL/data pipelines, and case management or CRM systems.
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent formal program management credential.
  • Experience in an early-stage or scale-up environment helping to build the delivery function.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery plan, timeline, milestones, and execution for complex implementations.
  • Convert signed contracts and statements of work into detailed plans with dependencies, risks, and owners.
  • Escalate major scope, timeline, or technical decisions to leadership with clear recommendations.
  • Lead the technical design and scoping process, including integration scope, data flows, SSO/IAM, security, and API contracts.
  • Bring options and tradeoffs to Build leadership for final architectural decisions.
  • Design and manage the governance model, including steering committees, working groups, and executive updates.
  • Coordinate work across internal teams, customer teams, and third-party partners.
  • Surface and manage risks, dependencies, and change control for scope, timeline, and budget.
  • Maintain delivery discipline and artifacts such as RAID logs, decision logs, integration maps, and status reports.
  • Build customer confidence and credibility by providing transparent updates and managing expectations.
  • Contribute to building the professional services function and developing a repeatable delivery motion.

Benefits

  • Compensation ranges are reviewed regularly and adjusted to reflect market conditions.
