About The Position

RenXTech, a wholly owned subsidiary of Buchanan & Edwards, is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead teams through the entire project lifecycle, ensuring tasks are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves providing subject matter expertise and guidance to customer leadership, managing multiple research projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, and acting as the primary technical point of contact with the customer, mission partners, and contractors. The position requires leading the end-to-end requirements lifecycle, translating needs into clear requirements, collaborating with various teams to refine user stories and acceptance criteria, driving cross-functional coordination, and developing comprehensive program and technical documentation. Executive-level reporting on delivery progress, risks, and business impact is also a key responsibility.

Responsibilities

  • Blend deep IT expertise with standard project management skills
  • Lead team through entire project lifecycle, ensuring tasks are delivered on time, within scope and within budget
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to customer leadership
  • Manage multiple research projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Act as the primary technical point of contact with our customer, mission partners, and contractors
  • Lead the end-to-end requirements lifecycle, from intake through delivery, ensuring traceability and alignment with business objectives.
  • Translate operational, security, and compliance needs into clear, prioritized requirements for engineering and vendor teams.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and technical leads to refine user stories, define acceptance criteria, and uphold quality standards.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination across engineering, DevOps, vendors, and stakeholders to deliver capabilities efficiently with minimal disruption.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program and technical documentation, including requirements, delivery plans, and audit-ready artifacts to support governance and traceability.
  • Provide executive-level reporting on delivery progress, risks, and business impact.
