About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and technically fluent Technical Project Manager to lead cross-functional projects from initiation through delivery. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing complex technical initiatives while ensuring alignment with business objectives, schedule, budget, and quality requirements. The Technical Project Manager serves as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, helping translate requirements into actionable plans and driving projects to successful completion.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing technical projects in a product development, engineering, or production environment.
  • Working knowledge of aerospace technical systems, software development, infrastructure, engineering processes, and systems integration.
  • Experience working in regulated, manufacturing, aerospace, or other highly technical environments.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, tools, and methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Project.
  • Travel as required in support projects.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with systems engineering, product lifecycle management, quality systems, or test and validation processes.
  • Experience leading distributed or cross-site teams and coordinating with suppliers or external partners.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and plan the execution, monitoring, and delivery of technical projects across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Define project scope, objectives, milestones, schedules, resource needs, and success criteria in collaboration with technical and business partners.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, product, quality, operations, and external vendors as needed.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, acceptance test procedures, status reports, risk registers, action item lists, and other project documentation.
  • Track progress against timelines, budgets, and deliverables, and proactively address risks, blockers, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate project meetings, technical reviews, and stakeholder communications to ensure alignment and timely decision-making.
  • Support requirements gathering and change management processes, ensuring impacts to scope, cost, and schedule are understood and communicated.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project execution, reporting, and team collaboration practices.
  • Ensure project outcomes meet defined quality standards, technical requirements, and customer expectations.
