Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, aerospace or industrial engineering with 5 to 10 years of relevant experience
Experience with 3D inspection software (PolyWorks, GOM)
Casting process expertise (Sand Casting, Investment Casting, Airfoils and Castings)
Proficient in project management tools and PLM
Requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.

Responsibilities

Lead supply chain technical projects from initiation to completion by managing project scope, budget, deliverables, and schedules.
Prepare and present the project business case to secure funding.
Lead multidisciplinary project teams and provide regular project updates.
Identify and remove cross-functional barriers that create process or quality issues, and escalate to the appropriate leaders when obstacles threaten project progress.
Lead and perform supplier assessments (including on-site assessments, when required), with the support of a team as needed, and develop associated action plans.
Analyze part inspection reports and perform statistical analyses to assess manufacturing process capability.
Collaborate with suppliers to improve part quality and develop inspection plans.
Promote the implementation of new technologies, such as 3D-printed sand cores and additive manufacturing processes for investment casting.
