About The Position

Peraton is seeking a Technical Project Manager SME to lead large and small technical projects, continuously optimize technical support services, improve the quality and timeliness of cyber forensic products and services, and develop innovative solutions. Projects are a definable portion of a large, sustained forensics technology development program. This role involves directing and supervising support resources, managing the technical direction of projects from requirements gathering through implementation and testing, and providing technical leadership and mentorship. The position requires full-time, onsite attendance Monday through Friday in the Baltimore metropolitan area.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Technology project management experience.
  • Systems engineering experience.
  • Systems design experience.
  • Configuration management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience running a DEVSECOPS Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Development (CD) pipeline.
  • Experience managing a development team.
  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) 5.0 Advanced Scrum Master (SASM) Certification with 3 years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience, or Master’s Degree and 10+ years of experience, or 7 years with PhD.
  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or Data Science is highly desired.
  • An additional 4 years of relevant experience or specialized training may be considered in lieu of Bachelor's degree.

Responsibilities

  • Lead large and small technical projects.
  • Continuously optimize technical support services to lines of business.
  • Improve quality and timeliness of cyber forensic products and services.
  • Develop innovative solutions.
  • Direct and supervise support resources (direct hires and subcontractors) in accordance with contract requirements and company policies, procedures and guidelines.
  • Manage the technical direction of projects from requirements gathering, analysis and verification through design, implementation, and testing to satisfy business performance objectives.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and analytical guidance to project teams.
  • Recommend and take action to direct the analysis and solutioning for technical problems.
  • Supervise professional and technical personnel performing in many disciplines.
  • Prepare and approve Standard Operating Procedures, Protocols and other technical documentation.
  • Supervise, manage, support and evaluate personnel.
  • Direct and coach scrum team members using Agile best practices.
  • Remove impediments and foster an environment for a high-performing team.
  • Promote cooperation across scrum teams.
  • Lead sprint reviews, demonstrations, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Create sprint summary reports and development sprint plans.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure contractual requirements and compliance.
  • Assist with decomposing needs and requirements into user-stories, then to developer tasks.
  • Ensure stakeholder requirements are mapped in Jira and metrics are reported.
  • Ensure ISO/IEC and NIST standards and guidance are followed.
  • Lead transformation of applications to cloud platform(s).
  • Leverage Peraton Mission Software Factory (DevSecOps) to continuously develop and deliver software within the client SDLC processes.
