About The Position

As an Associate, Strategic Execution Project Manager within the Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) Chief Data Office (CDO), this role supports transformation and business priorities by coordinating and executing projects, supporting business activities, and building relationships with partners, stakeholders, and senior management. The position collaborates with Business Controls, Technology, Operations, Firmwide partners, and Business Management to deliver successful project outcomes.

The CDO delivers high-quality, compliant data to internal clients. Its Strategic Execution team provides project management and reporting capabilities to promote consistency and standardization. The role applies technical knowledge to projects, aligns technology initiatives with business goals, navigates ambiguity, and supports decision-making through analytical reasoning, adaptability, and effective communication.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in technical program management supporting technology projects and programs in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
• Working proficiency in stakeholder management and experience establishing productive relationships.
• Technical familiarity, including awareness of vendor products and supporting vendor relations, and ability to explain technical processes simply.
• Exposure to project lifecycle management, supporting decision-makers and adapting to changing business needs.
• Working knowledge of analytical reasoning and problem-solving techniques.
• Effective visualization, written, and verbal communication skills, including working PowerPoint skills.
• Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and complete multiple concurrent tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to solving business problems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, often under tight deadlines.
• Working knowledge of planning and tracking tools such as Monday.com, MS Project, Jira, and Confluence.
• Familiarity with AI tools, including LLM Suite and Microsoft Copilot, for creating project management artifacts and deliverables.
• Data-driven mindset, developing analytical skills, and ability to communicate impact using data.
• Ability to think laterally and understand the big picture.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in data management and/or data governance or regulatory initiatives.
• Experience in an investment banking Regulatory, Compliance, or Data team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans covering technical requirements, resource allocation, and timelines across Agile and traditional methodologies.
• Support resource allocation and day-to-day project management.
• Monitor progress, adjust plans, and provide status updates to support timely delivery, scope adherence, and business alignment.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; address roadblocks and implement strategies to minimize impact.
• Facilitate resolution of key issues and risks, escalating when appropriate.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams to define scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
• Develop and deliver project communications to keep stakeholders informed, engaged, and aligned.
• Support operational and business change readiness by defining and documenting new operating models.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of project management processes, tools, and methodologies.
• Promote Agile practices and technical solutions, supporting continuous learning and innovation.
• Support project working forums and steering forums, assessing performance and driving data-informed optimizations.
