Job Summary: The primary duties of a Technical Project Manager III are to oversee the technical aspects of projects and be responsible for communication, schedule, budget, scope, and completion of engineering deliverables. These projects support our Microgrid offers/solutions such as low and medium-voltage switchgear, switchboards, and distributed energy resources (DERs) manufactured at our RTP and Randleman, NC facilities. Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills): Over 10 years of combined industry experience in technical design, electrical construction, and project management roles Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (equivalent experience will be considered) Experience within the power industry is advantageous Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills Strong analytical abilities to assess problems and develop effective solutions Excellent time management, organizational, and prioritization capabilities Familiarity with multiple engineering disciplines, including mechanical, electrical, and controls Demonstrated adaptability with the ability to respond positively to cross-functional input and change Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project Skilled in the use of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) or MRP systems Preferred knowledge of Bluebeam, Adobe, AutoCAD, and Vault products Demonstrated soft skills: effective communication (verbal and written), collaboration, problem-solving, and the ability to overcome obstacles Extensive understanding of functional and departmental processes Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% annually
