About The Position

An exciting opportunity awaits a skilled Technical Program Manager (TPM) to join a Fortune 100 technology leader and make a direct impact on delivering high-quality features and products at scale. In this role, you will serve as the connective tissue across product, engineering, and stakeholder teams, keeping workstreams aligned, risks managed, and releases on track. You will own the end-to-end coordination of designated project, from facilitating shiproom meetings and bug bashes to overseeing partner onboarding and driving continuous process improvements. This role is onsite in Redmond, WA. Contract role to start (6 months) with opportunity to extend. Full-time during duration of contract (40 hours/week). Job Summary: The Technical Program Manager (TPM) drives cross-functional coordination across product, engineering, and stakeholder teams. Responsibilities include managing backlogs and workstreams, facilitating key rhythms of business, and supporting planning and rollout activities. This role ensures supporting the Product and Engineering stakeholders to ship features, products in a well-coordinated fashion and on time with high quality bar.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree AND 5-7+ years' experience in technical product/program management. OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of extremely strong experience with release and risk management, running shiprooms, scrums.
  • 5+ years’ experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), Power BI dashboards, M365 Office, MS Teams, etc.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
  • Deep knowledge of software production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing effective SDLC execution and distribution.

Nice To Haves

  • PMI or PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate v-team Shiproom meetings, bug bashes, and triage sessions; attend scrums as needed and follow up on action items to closure.
  • Manage backlog and track bugs/asks in designated ADO for the initiative.
  • Ensure timely responses from MSAI DRIs to partners.
  • Establish SLAs for new partner onboarding for response times, and other stages of the onboarding processes.
  • Ensure these SLAs are met, report out on the compliance with these SLAs, and find way to address gaps.
  • Oversee partner onboarding - maintaining and updating onboarding documentation based on feedback in collaboration with DRIs.
  • Maintain a unified view of onboarding status, risks, and timelines.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks to release success, including dependencies, late-breaking bugs, and performance regressions.
  • Coordinate capacity planning and communicate traffic projections with capacity champions.
  • Continuously improve onboarding processes and tooling by identifying pain points and driving efficiency initiatives, moving toward a self-serve onboarding model and predictable, high-quality releases.
