About The Position

Integer Technologies seeks a Junior Program Manager to support and coordinate cyber‑physical research programs across multiple locations, including Baton Rouge, LA, Tallahassee, FL, and Columbia, SC. The Junior PM will work closely with engineering managers, researchers, university partners, and government sponsors to ensure smooth program execution, clear communication, and timely delivery of technical and administrative requirements. This role is ideal for an emerging program leader who is organized, proactive, detail oriented, and eager to grow into larger program responsibilities. The Junior PM will support scheduling, milestone tracking, reporting, coordination across distributed research teams, and preparation of sponsor deliverables. The role also contributes to early business development activities through proposal coordination, gathering inputs, and supporting capture efforts under direction of senior staff.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience in technical project coordination, technical program support, or engineering operations.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks across distributed teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of materials for the sponsor.
• Proficiency with project management tools (Teams, SharePoint, Office 365, Microsoft Project and Planner).
• Comfortable working in fast paced technical R&D environments with evolving requirements.
• Ability to travel occasionally between Baton Rouge, Tallahassee, and Columbia.

Nice To Haves

• Experience supporting R&D or engineering programs.
• Familiarity with DoD research workflows, sponsor reporting, or proposal processes.
• Early career experience working with university partners or external research organizations.
• Basic understanding of cybersecurity or cyber‑physical systems concepts (not required, but helpful).
• Interest in helping build a large cyber sector for Integer Technologies.
• Understands how to use AI and Large Language Models to realize efficiencies with job responsibilities (CoPilot, Claude, Grok, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day execution of cyber‑physical research programs across Baton Rouge, Tallahassee, and Columbia, ensuring timely task completion and alignment with technical goals.
• Coordinate multiple site collaboration between engineering teams, university partners, and government sponsors, ensuring information flow, document sharing, and meeting continuity.
• Assist with schedule and milestone tracking, maintaining program calendars, monitoring task progress, and flagging issues or delays to senior leadership.
• Prepare documentation and deliverables, including monthly and quarterly reports, technical summaries, meeting notes, and sponsor requested materials.
• Organize program reviews, sprint meetings, workshops, and technical exchanges across multiple sites, coordinating logistics and preparing briefing materials.
• Support proposal and capture activities, including gathering technical inputs, organizing proposal artifacts, maintaining version control, and helping track sponsor requirements.
• Help maintain project documentation systems to support Knowledge Management, including SharePoint repositories, configuration control, and compliance tracking for assigned programs.
• Provide general administrative support to engineering leadership, including travel coordination, budget tracking support, resourcing, and invoice review.
