About The Position

GXM is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead the execution of an advanced multi-domain Command and Control (C2) operations center and associated technical team. This role serves as the primary programmatic and operational execution authority responsible for overseeing the integrated delivery of systems integration, operational environment stand-up, cloud modernization, cybersecurity and accreditation coordination, mission rehearsal support, and capability releases supporting Initial Operational Capability (IOC) objectives. The ideal candidate will possess deep experience managing complex operational defense programs involving C2 systems, cloud-native environments, systems integration, operational mission systems, DevSecOps delivery pipelines, multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and classified operational environments. This individual will serve as the primary interface between Government stakeholders, engineering teams, and mission partners to ensure successful execution of technical, operational, schedule, and programmatic objectives. This role is onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. However, hybrid flexibility may be available over time based on mission requirements and program execution needs.

Requirements

U.S. Citizen with active TS/SCI Clearance.
Minimum of ten (10) years of recent experience managing enterprise-level technical, operational or mission focused defense programs.
Experience managing technical programs involving systems integration, operational C2 environment, cloud technologies, mission systems, software development, or operational mission support environments.
Experience managing cost, schedule, technical performance, integration activities, and program risk within complex environments.
Experience overseeing cross-functional engineering and operational teams supporting software development, cloud infrastructure, systems engineering, integration, cybersecurity, and mission operations.
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, DevSecOps, Agile methodologies, and enterprise modernization initiatives.
Experience coordinating across Government stakeholders, operational mission partners, engineering teams, subcontractors, and mission partners.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and technical program management skills.
Proven ability to lead highly visible operational programs within fast-paced mission environments.

Nice To Haves

Experience supporting defense, space, or multi-domain operational environments.
Experience managing cloud-based programs involving Kubernetes, containerized environments, or enterprise cloud platforms.
Familiarity with Digital Engineering, MBSE, systems integration, or operational C2 environments.
Experience supporting programs operating within DoD cybersecurity frameworks including RMF, DISA STIGs, and Zero Trust.
Experience managing Agile software development and modernization efforts within mission-critical environments.
Current PMP, PgMP, PgMP, Agile, SAFe, or equivalent program/project management certification.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary interface with Government stakeholders for technical, operational, programmatic, integration, and execution activities.
Lead execution of complex and large-scale multi-domain operations programs involving systems integration, cloud environments, operational mission systems, and multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Oversee integrated execution across all major program areas including cost, schedule, technical performance, integration dependencies, cybersecurity compliance, mission rehearsal and operational demonstration activities, and operational risk areas.
Coordinate cross-functional engineering teams supporting software development, systems engineering, cloud infrastructure, integration, cyber security, integration, training and operational support activities.
Oversee development and execution of the Program Schedule, engineering roadmap, IOC timelines, operational coordination plan and transition activities.
Support modernization initiatives involving cloud-native architectures, DevSecOps, containerized environments, enterprise data environment, and distributed mission systems.
Monitor technical risks, dependencies, and integration dependencies, accreditation challenges while implementing mitigation strategies and corrective actions.
Develop and deliver technical program status briefings, operational updates, and executive-level reporting to Government leadership.
Ensure program execution aligns with contract requirements, mission objectives, cybersecurity standards, accreditation requirements, and operational priorities.
Support Agile-based execution methodologies and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices across technical teams.
Collaborate with program leadership, architects, engineers, and mission stakeholders to support operational capability delivery and modernization efforts.
