About The Position

Beast Industries is undertaking an AI-first engineering rebuild for a company with an existing audience of over 100 million people. This is a new build with no legacy constraints, multiple parallel workstreams, and a strict launch deadline. The role requires ensuring that nothing is missed across internal engineering teams, external development partners, and a product that will be used by millions from day one. The Technical Program Manager will be the execution backbone of the Beast membership app, coordinating internal engineering teams, game development partners, and multiple vendors. The goal is to ensure tight alignment across all workstreams, clean handoffs, and proactive risk resolution before issues become blockers. This involves managing a complex program with multiple vendors and teams where alignment gaps and handoff failures directly threaten the launch timeline, tracking integration milestones meticulously, conducting structured check-ins, and escalating proactively when delays occur. The role demands someone who can bring rigor to a fast-moving engineering organization without hindering velocity.

Requirements

  • Execution-Obsessed: Runs tight programs, prioritizes moving things forward over status updates.
  • Multi-Vendor Experience: Managed programs involving external development partners or contractors alongside internal engineering teams, with experience holding vendors accountable.
  • Technical Depth: Comfortable understanding engineering dependencies, integration risks, and technical handoff requirements.
  • Clear Communicator: Capable of running leadership syncs, writing structured escalation memos, and communicating risks and needs to VPs.
  • Startup Ready: Thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and builds processes that enable velocity.
  • 5+ years of TPM or program management experience in a technical environment.
  • At least 2 years managing programs involving external vendors or development partners.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in consumer app development.
  • Experience in media or entertainment technology.
  • Experience managing game SDK or mobile framework integrations.

Responsibilities

  • Own the program plan end to end across internal teams and external partners, covering milestones, dependencies, risks, and blockers.
  • Drive structured weekly check-ins with all key leads, ensuring alignment on integration milestones and surfacing issues early enough to course correct.
  • Enforce handoff standards so nothing ships without the receiving team being fully ready, including documentation, onboarding sessions, and acceptance criteria locked before any handoff closes.
  • Serve as the connective tissue between engineering, product, and vendor partners, translating between technical and non-technical stakeholders and escalating to exec leadership when needed.
  • Build and maintain a "can't fail" execution culture by proactively identifying risks, owning follow-through, and holding teams accountable without micromanaging.
