About The Position

Amazon Leo is building the data and science backbone for its entire organization, establishing the infrastructure, analytics capabilities, and GenAI-powered tools to enable data-driven decisions and exceptional customer experiences. As a Technical Program Manager, you will be the central connector, orchestrating data flows, aligning efforts into unified solutions, and driving programs that transform how Leo teams access, understand, and act on data. Your work will involve data infrastructure, science-driven operational tools, and GenAI solutions. You will define how a rapidly scaling satellite business operates on data, connecting engineering, science, business, and operations teams to establish a single source of truth for global launch and scaling.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 2+ years of software development experience
  • 3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

Responsibilities

  • Manage technical programs that establish and scale Leo Business' central data infrastructure and science solutions, ensuring seamless data flow and organizational alignment.
  • Drive programs that ingest, store, and curate data from first-party, second-party, and third-party sources into a unified data lake, ensuring pipelines are reliable, scalable, and meet cross-organizational needs.
  • Connect disparate efforts into cohesive data strategies, partnering with teams to identify gaps and eliminate silos, and ensuring consistent access to curated datasets, standardized metrics, and shared dashboards.
  • Manage development of GenAI-powered tools that connect data infrastructure to organizational needs, enabling natural language queries, intelligent recommendations, and production-ready science models.
  • Establish data quality standards, security protocols, and governance frameworks, driving adoption of centralized tools, managing multi-tenancy requirements, and ensuring compliance.
