Job Summary To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Technical Program Manager located in Milpitas, CA. Reporting to the Director, Operations Engineering, the Technical Program Manager will be be responsible to manage and support for a product or range of products through all phases of product development and manufacturing to improve the product manufacturability, testability and quality.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5 years in Data Storage, Rack server and telecommunication products.
  • Electronics and Mechanical experience
  • Detailed understanding of diagnostic, failure analysis, and debug techniques.
  • Working experience in electronic manufacturing environment
  • Detailed understanding of product BOM structure on both board and system level.
  • Self starter with strong leadership, communication skills and demonstrated problem solving ability.

Responsibilities

  • Support and manage production area by assessing product failure issues of diverse scope that arise on production line.
  • Suggest improvements to manufacturing process to obtain improved quality and production yield.
  • Examine methodologies to maximize Failure Analysis, integration, and verification efficiency
  • Solve product related problems and perform failure analysis related to product issues.
  • Interact with customer and various departments on product related test issues – engineering changes, new model development.
  • Bring out manufacturing process in a timely manner.
  • Working closely with Failure Analysis Engineer to provide guidance to the debug technicians and develop better understanding of the product.
  • Work with design team to resolve design related issues.
  • Participate to cost reduction activities in areas like material, inventory, scrap reduction.
  • Suggest modification to work instructions, material or product changes so as to ensure superior quality of products.
  • Understand and set up test topology to meet customer's requirement.
  • Test/Assembly process support: test code verification, test automation, bug reporting, test process improvements and cost reductions.
