We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to drive delivery excellence across our engineering organization. In this role, you will partner with two development teams to ensure predictable, high-quality delivery while owning cross-functional programs and initiatives that improve how we build and ship software. You will be the connective tissue between teams, stakeholders, and leadership - mapping dependencies, managing risk, and coordinating execution. This is a hybrid position, offering the flexibility of remote work and in-person collaboration at our downtown Vancouver office.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Computer Science, Engineering, Business, IT, etc.) or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of experience in a related role (Technical Program Manager, Scrum Master, Project Manager, Delivery Lead, etc.)
- Technical capability to engage credibly with engineering teams
- Strong program management skills - defining milestones, tracking progress, managing dependencies, etc.
- Solid understanding of modern software delivery practices and Agile principles
- Proactive problem-solver with a passion for continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills
- 2+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Scrum Master, Project Manager, Delivery Lead, or similar position
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a technical role (software developer, QA engineer, analyst, etc.)
- Agile or delivery certification (CSM, PSM, PMP, SAFe, etc.)
- Experience using AI tools to optimize development processes
- Familiarity with data analysis, metrics, and reporting tooling
- Experience coordinating delivery across multiple teams in a scaled agile environment
- Exposure to physical security, video, IoT, cloud, or embedded systems domains
- Experience working with remote and distributed teams across time zones
Responsibilities
- Own and drive end-to-end delivery for cross-functional programs and initiatives
- Establish program milestones, track progress against commitments, and proactively surface risks to stakeholders
- Provide clear, data-driven reporting on program health and status
- Map and manage cross-team dependencies, ensuring alignment on interfaces, timelines, and commitments
- Translate between technical details and stakeholder-friendly updates for Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and senior leadership
- Partner with Engineering and Product leadership to align on trade-offs, priorities, and resource allocation
- Partner with two Scrum teams to lead delivery and ensure predictability
- Ensure effective team meetings, including team and scaled agile ceremonies
- Work closely with Product and Engineering Managers to align priorities and manage scope
- Identify and remove blockers, escalating systemic impediments and driving resolution
- Help teams navigate technical trade-offs and decompose complex initiatives into deliverable increments
- Cultivate an environment where teams feel empowered to self-organize, experiment, and grow
- Design and implement improvements to team and program delivery, measuring impact and sharing learnings
- Advocate for agile values and practices that enable teams to deliver incrementally, learn quickly, and respond to change
