About The Position

KLA is seeking a highly skilled Technical Project/Program Manager to lead and support a portfolio of mature wafer inspection products. This role will focus on extending product life and ensuring parts supportability to meet KLA’s business objectives while providing customers with expected tool availability and cost-of-ownership targets. The Technical Program Manager will lead cross-functional teams, including product marketing, supply chain, product support, engineering, and finance, to develop and drive projects that ensure continuity of spare parts supply and support informed business decisions on product prioritization and investment. This role requires developing a strong understanding of supported products to make sound technical and business decisions, including support prioritization, project scoping, and funding requirements. Decisions should be supported by ROI analysis and consider both business and customer impact. The role also involves assessing, mitigating, and retiring risks effectively, and presenting program updates and checkpoint presentations to senior and executive management. The Technical Program Manager must be able to adapt to both agile and traditional waterfall project management models, demonstrating flexibility and the ability to adjust working methods as needed. Leveraging new and emerging technologies, including AI tools, to increase efficiency and productivity in planning, executing, and closing projects and programs, as well as managing portfolios more effectively, is also a key aspect of this position.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a BS in engineering from an accredited school
  • 7+ years of technology industry experience
  • 2–3 years of team management experience
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and successfully driving projects to completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Experience in project and/or program management.
  • Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience
  • Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years
  • Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in capital equipment engineering and support is highly desirable.
