About The Position

Ceva’s AI Division develops AI processor architectures and technologies, including NPUs, Vision DSPs, AI algorithms, embedded software, and development tools for edge AI applications. The division combines hardware architecture, VLSI, software, and systems engineering to deliver high-performance, power-efficient AI solutions to semiconductor companies. The Technical Program Manager leads complex, multidisciplinary development programs for AI processor IP products. The role coordinates hardware, embedded software, development tools, and system-level activities from initial requirements through customer delivery. It works closely with engineering leaders, architects, product management, and customer teams to turn technical objectives into executable plans and ensure successful delivery. The role also improves R&D development processes to increase predictability, efficiency, and quality. The position owns end-to-end program planning and execution, including integrated plans, milestones, resources, dependencies, critical paths, risks, scope, and trade-offs. It leads programs involving 30+ engineers across architecture, RTL design, verification, firmware, compilers, software tools, and system validation, coordinating priorities and synchronization across teams and global sites. It also establishes practical planning, tracking, release-readiness, KPI, and quality-gate practices; streamlines workflows; and serves as a central communication point among R&D, product management, leadership, and customer-facing teams.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of experience in semiconductor, SoC, embedded systems, or complex hardware/software product development.
  • At least 3 years of experience leading complex technical programs or multidisciplinary R&D development activities.
  • Strong understanding of hardware development lifecycles, including architecture, RTL design, verification, integration, and release, and of coordinating hardware/software dependencies.
  • Proven ability to build and improve R&D processes and program execution frameworks.
  • Strong planning, risk management, and communication skills, with the ability to influence across teams without direct management authority.
  • Independent, proactive, and execution-oriented.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI processors, NPUs, DSPs, or other semiconductor IP products.
  • Familiarity with embedded software, compilers, SDKs, or hardware/software integration.
  • Experience in global R&D organizations and customer-facing semiconductor programs.
  • Familiarity with AI inference, Generative AI, or edge AI.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end planning and execution of AI processor IP programs spanning hardware, embedded software, and development tools, from requirements through customer release.
  • Build and manage integrated plans, milestones, resources, and cross-functional dependencies.
  • Identify critical paths and risks, manage scope and trade-offs, and drive timely resolution of issues.
  • Lead multidisciplinary programs involving engineers across architecture, RTL design, verification, firmware, compilers, software tools, and system validation.
  • Partner with R&D managers and technical leaders to align priorities, resources, and plans across teams and global sites.
  • Ensure synchronization between hardware development, software readiness, and customer integration.
  • Define and continuously improve R&D program management processes and development methodologies.
  • Introduce practical planning, tracking, and release-readiness practices, including clear KPIs and quality gates.
  • Streamline cross-team workflows and reduce execution bottlenecks.
  • Coordinate communication between R&D, product management, leadership, and customer-facing teams, clearly communicating progress, risks, and key decisions.
  • Ensure alignment between internal development plans and customer commitments.
