Technical Program Manager, Space Systems
About The Position
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company focused on transforming military capabilities with advanced technology. The Space team is expanding AI-powered capabilities into space, enhancing Space Domain Awareness, Space Control, and Command and Control. This role involves leading the day-to-day execution of program initiatives and tasks for the Space business line, managing budget and schedule with Business Operations, and working with customers and the Growth team to meet technical and contractual requirements. The position is directly tied to ongoing orbital programs and active pursuits, requiring execution on multiple space system development and delivery contracts, as well as capture efforts for dynamic space operations missions.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience executing engineering or program management responsibilities for Space hardware, payloads, subsystems, or satellites
- Strong understanding of space systems engineering, environmental considerations, and requirements verification and validation
- Experience with the deployment and integration of sophisticated hardware and software systems - particularly for national security space systems
- B.S. (minimum) in Electrical, Computer, Aerospace, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent
- 4+ years relevant industry experience
- Experience with building and leading cross-functional teams
- Adaptive and introspective; willing to learn, teach, lead and follow.
- Comfortable with setting and achieving goals in an amorphous environment.
- Comfortable with working in limited resource environments.
- Currently possesses and is able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance
Nice To Haves
- CAPM or PMP certification a plus
- Prior engineering work on space systems is a plus
- Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams to successful completion of projects

- Experience with Microsoft Project or equivalent project management software

Responsibilities
- Lead the project from start to finish with the customer and the engineering team.
- Develop the technical path for success, identify engineering needs, and validate the projected product outcome with the customer.
- Work side-by-side with customers to understand their specific mission challenges and represent the customer while working with Anduril engineers to shape products.
- Work with Anduril engineers to build the solution and/or pivot development as needed to meet client needs.
- Ensure collaboration with engineering, product, logistics, finance, legal, contracting, technical operations, and other internal teams.
- Develop, coordinate, and communicate the path to success with internal and external partners.
- Build sprint plans, execution plans, and milestones with clients and engineers.
- Meet commercial targets that drive top line growth by establishing committed and trust-based partnerships with customers.
- Articulate Anduril’s value proposition and how the technology can impact a customer’s problem set.
