Technical Program Manager, Production Engineering

FluidstackAustin, TX
$186,000 - $220,000

About The Position

Fluidstack exists to make humanity more free by building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI. We are singularly focused on delivering 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else, rethinking every layer of the stack. We acquire power, design and build data centers, and operate them. Speed and scale are our key differentiators. We hire people who care deeply about this problem space and operate with extreme ownership, full autonomy, velocity, first principles, and a love of the game, often putting in long hours at high intensity to push the frontier forward.

Requirements

  • Run technical programs across infrastructure or operations engineering teams.
  • Taken incidents to root cause and driven the fix across every affected system.
  • Keep a dozen workstreams moving and know which one is about to slip.
  • Fluent enough technically to challenge an engineer's estimate and be right sometimes.
  • Write the update leadership actually reads.

Nice To Haves

  • Data center or fleet operations.
  • SQL and dashboarding.
  • Incident management systems.
  • Hardware-software interface programs.

Responsibilities

  • Drive programs across the production engineering org: fleet tooling rollouts, reliability initiatives, and cross-site standards.
  • Run the cadence between production engineering, data center operations, and software teams so fixes ship fleet-wide instead of site by site.
  • Own escalations from live sites through root cause to closed corrective action.
  • Build the reporting that tells leadership where the fleet actually stands.

Benefits

  • Pay equity and transparency.
