Technical Program Manager, Network
About The Position
Fluidstack is building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI, aiming to deliver 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else. This involves rethinking every layer of the stack, from acquiring power and designing data centers to operating them. The company emphasizes speed, scale, and a culture of autonomy, urgency, first-principles reasoning, and a passion for building something that matters. The Data Center Operations Team is responsible for operating infrastructure at a national scale, managing live construction zones, and building operational playbooks from scratch. This role is critical in ensuring network readiness for site activations and maintaining operational excellence across a rapidly scaling organization.
Requirements
- Experience running network deployment or infrastructure delivery programs at scale, where missed turn-up dates have significant capacity implications.
- Strong understanding of networks, including structured cabling and optics, carrier circuit timelines, switch and router deployment, and factors causing integration delays.
- Proven ability to build activation or readiness frameworks from scratch, defining gates and acceptance criteria.
- Skilled in coordinating across engineering, deployment, supply chain, and external partners without direct ownership of these teams.
- Experience tracking corrective actions and vendor performance to closure with live reporting.
- Excellent written communication skills to translate complex delivery problems into clear actions for various stakeholders.
Nice To Haves
- Hyperscale or large colocation network deployment experience (100k+ endpoint fabrics).
- Hardware supply chain and RMA program ownership (OEM, ODM, integrator).
- Program management credentials (PMP, PgMP).
- Experience with tooling and scripting for fleet-scale tracking (Python, Jira or Smartsheet automation, custom dashboards).
Responsibilities
- Own the network critical path for every site activation, from structured cabling and optics through switch and router delivery, circuit turn-up, and vendor integration, ensuring network readiness does not delay site go-live dates.
- Define and enforce network readiness gates, acceptance criteria, and sign-offs for the entire fleet of sites.
- Manage the operating rhythm across network engineering, network operations, deployment, supply chain, and colocation/construction partners to identify and mitigate schedule risks.
- Drive network change and incident programs to closure, tracking corrective actions, recurrence patterns, and fleet-wide trends.
- Hold OEMs, ODMs, and deployment partners accountable for delivery commitments using measured performance data.
- Partner with the Principal Operations Engineer, Network, to ensure technical standards are met on schedule at every site.
- Travel up to 50% to various sites.
