About The Position
Amazon Advertising LLC is seeking a Technical Program Manager II for multiple positions available in New York, New York. This role involves coordinating and managing the technical project and program development of large-scale, distributed software applications, systems, platforms, services, or technologies. The position requires working throughout the complete software development lifecycle, from design through release, using Object Oriented coding and design principles (Java, C++, Perl, HTML). Key responsibilities include defining projects, collecting business requirements, writing functional and technical specifications, driving software development efforts, managing priorities for project/program completion, and performing software application performance tuning. The role also involves creating schedules, identifying and communicating risks to stakeholders, defining risk mitigation strategies, and facilitating appropriate software engineering solutions. Additionally, the Technical Program Manager II will manage cross-functional teams and/or third-party vendors for the implementation of project/program requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- One year of experience in the job offered or as a Project Lead, Product Manager, Software Engineer, or a related occupation.
- One year of experience in managing technical projects from design to release for large-scale software applications.
- One year of experience in software application performance tuning.
- One year of experience in hands-on Object Oriented coding and design using C++, C#, or Java.
Responsibilities
