As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. In this role, you will work on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience in program management.
Experience with hardware system validation.
Experience with the consumer electronics product development lifecycle.

Nice To Haves

2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
Experience in consumer electronics and experience shipping high volume/high quality product.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong ability to capture the big picture quickly and focus on key points.
Passion for improving processes, plans, and all things that are simply broken.
Strong team player and creative thinker who is able to lead technical teams, cross-functional groups, and vendors against plans.
Ability to travel internationally as needed.

Responsibilities

Co-lead cross functional product requirements verification and validation, including validation scoping and engineering specifications development to support overall product requirements.
Co-lead system level issue triage, particularly where the issue requires active involvement with multiple cross functional teams.
Track and drive upstream or downstream dependencies for end to end system integration.
Develop and maintain validation schedules, milestones and critical paths, integrating them into the overall product development timeline.
Oversee device level data collection at the contract manufacturer, including any preparations necessary to enable data collection.
