About The Position

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers. This team's mission is to secure network infrastructure for the Google Cloud and Production network. The team includes subject matter experts that are comfortable designing network solutions that involve colocation space, and cable landing stations. We structure deals to acquire existing networks or build new assets to meet the needs of the business. This role involves interfacing with the internal teams and external vendors in order to deliver these complex solutions. In this role, you will own and drive projects related to network deliverables, and provide overall support to the Network Planning, Acquisition, and Deployment teams on scoping and managing orders and deployments of network elements. You will work closely with Google’s third party telecom and colocation vendors, managing their deliverables while keeping an eye on the bottom line, and driving cost effective solutions. Google Cloud accelerates every organization’s ability to digitally transform its business and industry. We deliver enterprise-grade solutions that leverage Google’s cutting-edge technology, and tools that help developers build more sustainably.
