About The Position

Amazon is deploying the largest private EV network in the world, representing one of the most ambitious strides towards innovation and environmental sustainability. This Technical Program Manager role will lead design and new EV product integration for this infrastructure expansion, driving the integration of new infrastructure systems into standardized templates and managing a portfolio of projects across North America. This high-impact position requires a combination of technical depth, rigor, and high attention to detail and quality. The successful candidate will own the operating rhythm of a project portfolio, converting concepts into permit-ready construction sets, and building systems to provide leadership visibility into portfolio development. The role involves driving execution across supply chain, construction, utility engagement, and product development, and serving as a conscious thought partner in shaping strategies. The Global Fleet and Products, Electrification and Infrastructure team is pioneering the EV infrastructure of the future, responsible for designing, deploying, and sustaining all electrification infrastructure globally to support Amazon's EV fleet. This work operates at the intersection of electrical engineering, construction, fleet operations, and technology, delivering infrastructure that must perform reliably at massive scale, in diverse environments, under demanding operational conditions, directly enabling Amazon's Climate Pledge commitment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Proven track record of owning technical documentation, leading standardization efforts, and evaluating trade-offs of specifications
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related infrastructure field

Nice To Haves

  • Masters degree
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
  • Experienced with North American Codes and Acceptance Requirements (e.g. NFPA 70E, UL, NETA)
  • Exceptional team player who leverages AI fluency for scale and dissects complex problems into manageable solutions

Responsibilities

  • Drive a portfolio of designs for electrification and infrastructure translating concepts into permit-ready construction sets
  • Build and run operating mechanisms to enable new product integration at scale, driving key performance metrics
  • Identify risks to goals, scope solutions, set milestones, and identify resources for resolution
  • Prepare executive status updates, escalate quickly, and clear blockers, always understanding where projects/programs stand
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, while serving as a liaison between product development, supply chain, and construction
  • Run leadership meetings, prepare agendas, drive decisions and actions, and drive follow through
  • Leverage Amazon's vast tools to create AI-enable workflows to reduce manual work to support scale
