About The Position

Celestica is seeking a Technical Program Manager – Data Center Infrastructure to lead the development and deployment of modular data center (DC) form factors. In this role, you will engage directly with our customers to configure product designs to order and work with cross-functional engineering and delivery teams to see projects through from design to manufacturing, final site assembly, and commissioning. You will use your engineering background, organizational skills, and leadership abilities to define major programs, build schedules, and drive cross-functional accountability. This role requires comfort with ambiguity, a fast-paced environment, and close collaboration with engineers, business executives, and skilled technicians to manage complex, multi-stream projects.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant project/program management experience.
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, Microsoft Project) and standard business productivity software (e.g., Google Sheets, Slides, Docs).
  • Strong financial acumen, including understanding business planning and profitability metrics (e.g., EBIAT, ROIC).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple, detailed projects to a successful end while working under tight time deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal and external customers.
  • Ability to effectively lead and motivate a diverse group of employees to achieve high production within tight time deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in data center design, construction, fabrication, or manufacturing.
  • Customer-facing experience, ideally supporting sales teams or negotiating contracts.
  • Background in manufacturing operations, sourcing, and supply chain management.
  • Familiarity with common BIM/CAD, PLM, and ERP/MRP platforms.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing, quality systems, and operations improvement.
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing process, schedules and scheduling requirements, and Supply Chain Management.
  • Knowledge of product pricing, contracts and contract negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end program lifecycle (WBS, schedules, and deliverables) from kickoff through manufacturing to site commissioning.
  • Coordinate project interdependencies, manage risks, and ensure programs meet cost, quality, and schedule targets.
  • Review and interpret customer specifications to configure custom designs.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact, presenting status updates and aligning deliverables with customer expectations and business unit goals.
  • Lead global, cross-functional core teams (engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing).
  • Establish governance, drive team accountability, and mentor team members by identifying growth opportunities.
  • Manage program budgets, forecast actuals against plans (labor, materials, and expenses), and optimize resource allocation across projects.
  • Proactively identify and remove bottlenecks, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and capture learning to carry on to future projects.
