About The Position
The Technical Professional II- Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) engineer, following completion of the required on site training on the International Space Station (ISS) GN&C system, will provide ISS GN&C Mission Engineering Room (MER) console support.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or physics.
- Basic computer science/programming experience, especially with Matlab.
- Calculus, probability & statistics, numerical methods, vector/matrix/quaternion, linear systems coursework.
- Current driver's license
- Proof of U.S. citizenship
Nice To Haves
- Experience with/understanding of Global Positioning System (GPS), attitude and rate sensors, space vehicle navigation, and with manned space vehicles operations.
- Experience with Unix, C, C++, Java, Fortran, or Ada.
