About The Position

Port.io is seeking a Technical Product Marketer to join their rapidly growing team. The company is building an open and flexible Agentic Engineering Platform for modern engineering organizations, having recently secured $100M in Series C funding. Port acts as the central nervous system for engineering, enabling platform teams to unify their stack and expose it as a governed layer through golden paths for developers and AI agents. By combining engineering context, workflows, and actions, Port helps organizations transition to autonomous, AI-assisted engineering workflows while maintaining control. As a product-led company, Port focuses on building world-class platforms that shape modern engineering operations. The Technical Product Marketer will be responsible for transforming existing and future use cases into clear, compelling customer value propositions. This role involves close collaboration with product, Sales Engineers (SEs), Customer Success Managers (CSMs), and customers to identify key use cases and demonstrate Port's impact. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and go-to-market strategy, with opportunities for innovation and influence in market communication.

Requirements

  • 3+ years as a Product Marketing Manager, Sales Engineer (SE), Solution Architect, Partner Solution Architect or related fields with focus on demos and storytelling.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical products into compelling narratives, demos, and enablement content for technical and semi-technical audiences.
  • Hands-on experience building and delivering live and recorded product demos, including demo environments tailored to different personas (developers, platform teams, DevOps, VP Eng, etc.).
  • Strong technical foundation and comfort working close to the product, including: APIs and integrations, Cloud-native and modern software architectures, CI/CD, DevOps, or platform engineering workflows.
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator with experience partnering closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Partner teams.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment and balancing multiple priorities without sacrificing quality.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a DevOps or Platform Engineer is great.
  • Experience marketing or enabling developer tools, internal developer platforms (IDPs), DevOps platforms, or infrastructure tooling.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as GitHub/GitLab, Kubernetes, Terraform, cloud providers (AWS/GCP/Azure), or modern CI/CD systems.
  • Comfort presenting to both deeply technical audiences and executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Build and deliver compelling product narratives in demonstration environments.
  • Create technical content including demo videos, reference designs, and tutorials.
  • Configure and manage demo environments across different use cases and personas.
  • Partner with Product, Sales, Marketing, Integration Partner, and Engineering teams.
  • Develop technical documentation and training materials.
