About The Position

U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Technical Product Manager (ICS API OPS Guardians) (multiple positions) in Atlanta, GA. Essential Responsibilities: Serve as reference between technical and business teams and support enterprise goals. Lead IT product management activities in an Agile environment, supporting Integrated Card Services (ICS) within the Payments Organization. Oversee the full lifecycle of API product development, including planning, refinement, sprint execution, testing, and quarterly planning. Translate functional and non-functional business requirements into well-defined epics, features, and user stories using the Swagger framework, ensuring alignment with RESTful architecture principles, and JSON standards. Manage and prioritize the API product backlog across multiple API Scrum teams, balancing feature requests, bug fixes, and strategic initiatives based on performance metrics and consumer feedback. Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, architecture, and API teams to ensure APIs meet enterprise standards for usability, scalability, and reliability. Drive strategic direction, ensure delivery of marketable capabilities, and partner with stakeholders to define and document IT product features. Provide guidance for architecture design, product demos, and production readiness reviews to maintain process integrity and ensure successful deployment. Track API performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, or Information Technology, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience as an Information Technology Project Manager, or a related, occupation.
  • Manage financial technology products, including credit card processing systems and API platforms
  • Translate functional and non-functional EPICS and user stories using Swagger and JIRA
  • Mainframe Z/OS environments, COBOL, JCL, and IBM Db2
  • RESTful API architecture and JSON data structures
  • Agile methodologies and technical product management, including backlog management
  • Create and manage epics, user stories, and product backlog using JIRA
  • Confluence, Mural, Postman, SQL, and Kibana
  • Product documentation, testing, and monitoring with Splunk
  • Process mapping and technical documentation with Visio
