About The Position

Bitsight is seeking a Technical Product Manager to help prioritize and coordinate improvements to engineering processes as AI tools increasingly support code writing and review. The role partners closely with engineering teams and AI subject matter experts to improve and adopt AI-supported workflows, bringing developer feedback, evidence, and open decisions to the people responsible for them. The Technical Product Manager contributes to the AI SDLC roadmap, coordinates work on the AI code reviewer, tracks work from ticket to merge request, and helps teams define and assess quality expectations for AI-generated code. The role also analyzes SDLC timing and bottlenecks, supports AI tooling adoption, coordinates with security, compliance, and architecture partners, updates product processes for an AI-driven SDLC, and supports planning and prioritization for the AI SME team.

  • Familiarity with the software development lifecycle, from idea and ticket through code and release.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, including tracking multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Clear written and verbal communication with engineers, engineering leaders, and other stakeholders.
  • Comfort using data and analyzing metrics to assess what is working and what is not.
  • Execution focus: translate priorities into clear plans, owners, and decisions; follow through; and raise blockers early.
  • Curiosity about how AI changes software development and willingness to learn about related trust and governance questions.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Work with engineering and product leaders to agree on priorities, team participation, and the changes needed to put priorities into practice.
  • Bring product context into engineering discussions and developer feedback into product decisions.
  • Work with engineering teams on priorities, process, and how AI fits into their workflows.
  • Contribute to the AI SDLC roadmap by gathering engineer input, surfacing high-impact AI use cases in coding, review, testing, and documentation, and helping shape priorities.
  • Coordinate work on the AI code reviewer, aligning teams and engineering owners on needs, priorities, delivery plans, and follow-up.
  • Track the flow of work from ticket to merge request, identify gaps and bottlenecks, and work with teams to address them.
  • Help engineering teams and product partners agree on quality expectations for AI-generated code edits, track outcomes, flag trends, and follow up with accountable owners.
  • Analyze SDLC time usage, identify major sources of delay, and recommend fixes.
  • Support adoption of AI tools across engineering by collecting feedback, working with internal champions, and reporting on tool usage.
  • Coordinate with security, compliance, and architecture partners to ensure AI adoption aligns with policies.
  • Help update Bitsight's product process for an AI-driven SDLC, document changes, and support their rollout.
