About The Position

ServiceNow is seeking a Technical Product Manager to own a portfolio of AI and platform initiatives for its legal technology team within the Global Business Services Experience team. ServiceNow’s legal team uses the company’s platform for workflows such as NDAs, procurement contracts, conflict checks, and requests for legal advice. The role aims to reduce routine work for attorneys and legal professionals, speed up responses, and structure legal data for useful AI-agent applications. The Product Manager will own a multi-quarter roadmap across Contract Management Pro, Legal Service Delivery, and connected systems; translate legal and business needs into delivery-ready requirements; and guide iterative development, testing, and production releases. The role also involves designing and prototyping AI agents for legal work, defining how they use knowledge and human review, evaluating models and vendors, and ensuring production-bound solutions receive engineering review and hardening. The person in this role will define evaluation criteria and test sets, establish value models and baselines, and report AI impact and post-launch outcomes to senior leadership. They will partner with ServiceNow’s Product organization to validate enhancements that may be included in customer-facing platform releases, while aligning Legal, Procurement, Compliance, Product, Engineering, and Digital Technology stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience with enterprise workflow platforms.
  • Experience shipping generative or agentic AI features, including LLM behavior, retrieval, and prompt design.
  • Experience defining evaluation methods for AI applications, including output quality, groundedness, task completion, and appropriate human review.
  • Experience working on agile teams and writing epics and user stories for engineering teams.
  • Strong executive communication skills, including the ability to summarize portfolio status, value, and risk in a few slides.
  • Strong stakeholder management across legal, business, and technical teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Determine how AI agents retrieve knowledge, when people review their outputs, and how feedback improves agent performance.
  • Use out-of-the-box and Now Assist capabilities where possible, building custom solutions when the platform cannot meet the need.
  • Build prototypes to assess AI performance and secure stakeholder agreement before committing to full development.
  • Ensure solutions intended for production receive engineering review and hardening.
  • Define evaluation criteria, test sets, and pass thresholds before AI features reach production.
  • Run model and vendor evaluations without committing to a single model or provider.
  • Build and maintain value models covering measures such as hours saved, request volume, and cycle time, and report AI impact to senior leadership monthly and quarterly.
  • Establish baselines and measure adoption, cycle time, quality, and realized productivity improvements after launch.
  • Partner with the Product organization to co-develop and validate enhancements for possible inclusion in customer-facing platform releases.
