The Technical Product Manager supports the delivery and evolution of platforms, including generative AI, decisioning, personalization, and experimentation capabilities. This role partners with engineering, data science, and business teams to execute on platform roadmaps, translate requirements into technical work, and deliver high-quality, scalable platform capabilities. The Technical Product Manager operates within a defined product strategy, balancing business needs with technical feasibility while developing depth in platform technologies and product execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field required.
  • 5-7+ years of product management experience, preferably in technical or platform-focused roles.
  • Experience working with engineering teams in an agile development environment.
  • Demonstrated systems acumen, including ability to review code, data contracts and system trade-offs.
  • Proven track record managing complex technical roadmaps and leading cross-functional initiatives.
  • Foundational understanding of systems architecture, APIs, and cloud-based platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-informed mindset.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within a defined product strategy
  • Eagerness to learn, grow technical depth, and take on increasing ownership.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, decisioning systems, or data platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and execution of platform roadmaps by supporting feature definition, sequencing, and delivery.
  • Gather and translate business and technical requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications.
  • Write technical specifications for data pipelines, policies, experiments, lead allocation, and logging.
  • Define data contracts and SLAs with technology teams.
  • Partner closely with engineering, ML, and data teams to plan, prioritize, and deliver platform capabilities.
  • Manage product backlogs, support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release coordination.
  • Collaborate with senior product managers to assess tradeoffs, dependencies, and risks.
  • Support platform governance processes, including documentation, versioning, approvals, and compliance requirements.
  • Assist in monitoring platform performance, reliability, and adoption, including KPIs, SLOs, and operational metrics.
  • Analyze data and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Participate in platform evolution efforts, including enhancements, migrations, and technical improvements.
  • Stay current on relevant platform, AI, and cloud technologies to build product and domain expertise.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and outcomes to stakeholders with guidance from senior product leadership.
