About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional to manage product sales, pricing, work orders, and technical support for automation and electrical/electronic systems. This role serves as a key liaison between our organization, our production floor, Rockwell, and a major customer, ensuring accurate pricing, efficient builds, and exceptional technical expertise.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of automation, electrical/electronic systems, and industrial/commercial networks.
  • Experience with Rockwell Automation products.
  • Proven experience managing pricing and work order BOMs.
  • Proficiency in CAD software for design modifications and creation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to serve as a technical resource.
  • Strong communication skills for managing relationships with Rockwell and internal teams.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with production, sales, and purchasing teams.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the automation or electrical/electronic industry.
  • Familiarity with Rockwell products and related support lines.

Responsibilities

  • Work Order Oversight: Create and maintain BOMs for custom builds such as panels, VFDs, and computers.
  • Technical Support: Act as an internal resource for troubleshooting build-related issues and provide in-house expertise on automation and electrical/electronic systems.
  • CAD Design: Modify and create CAD drawings as required for projects.
  • Customer Liaison: Manage communication with Rockwell and the customer regarding pricing, forecasts, ordering, lifecycle, quality, and product development.
  • Requirements Analysis: Understand and interpret component and system-level requirements to meet customer specifications.
  • Pricing Management: Oversee pricing for Rockwell and related support lines (e.g., MTE, Prosoft) at the work order level, including labor and outsourced components.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with branch sales and purchasing teams to forecast demand and determine order levels.
