About The Position

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a technically fluent Product Manager to own strategy, development, execution, and lifecycle management for products across current vehicles and future automotive platforms. The role drives 0-to-1 product development from concept through launch, aligning customer needs, market opportunities, and business objectives. The Product Manager works cross-functionally with hardware, firmware, software, and operations teams to set priorities, manage tradeoffs, and build stakeholder consensus for successful delivery. The position is on-site five days per week in Foster City, California.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Technical fluency to engage credibly with hardware, firmware, and software teams.
• At least 6 years of direct product management experience bringing 0-to-1 products to market in the automotive or autonomous vehicle space.
• Ability to negotiate and influence a broad range of stakeholders to drive decisions and consensus.
• Ability to balance long-term strategic objectives with near-term tactical wins.
• Self-starter with a track record of taking action and delivering.
• Critical thinking skills and ability to navigate complex tradeoffs in a structured way.

Responsibilities

• Define product areas across current vehicles and future platforms.
• Own successful product execution across the product lifecycle.
• Develop a deep understanding of customers, the market, and business objectives to identify opportunities and align the product domain with company goals.
• Serve as Product Owner in a highly cross-functional product development process spanning hardware, firmware, software, and operations.
• Prioritize features and ensure priorities are clearly communicated.
