About The Position

Wayve is seeking a Technical Product Manager to own the roadmap for their development and experimentation vehicle platforms. This role is crucial for bridging software, hardware, and operations to enable rapid iteration in the development of Embodied AI technology for automated driving systems. The position involves partnering across engineering, program management, and internal teams to translate platform requirements into scalable capabilities that accelerate experiments, data collection, and deployments. It's a hands-on, high-trust role focused on making strategic tradeoffs to deliver platforms that enhance the speed and reliability of Wayve's priorities and customer programs.

Requirements

5+ years of experience shipping autonomy / AV features end-to-end (concept → integration → validation → release)
Strong systems thinking: can assess how platform changes impact downstream development, data, tooling, and operations
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills; able to challenge respectfully across engineering through leadership
Track record coordinating cross-functional execution across multiple teams to deliver complex, interdependent programs
2+ years of hands-on experience with embedded platforms, with direct involvement in architecture, development, and validation
Thrives in fast-paced, iterative environments with evolving priorities - brings momentum and calm to fast-moving environments without adding unnecessary process
Scrappy, resourceful, and focused on outcomes
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field

Nice To Haves

Experience owning or scaling developer / operations tooling and processes in complex hardware+software environments
Exposure to data feedback loops, data collection, and fleet operations in AV contexts
Prior experience working with external customers or partner programs, translating needs into productized workflows
Familiarity with automotive real-time environments, AI compute platforms, and sensors

Responsibilities

Own and evolve the roadmap for development & experimentation vehicle platform features.
Gather and prioritize requirements across engineering, program management, and internal customers; translate them into clear workflows, specs, and measurable success criteria.
Define and track platform product KPIs; maintain a cohesive view of current capabilities and what’s next.
Make product tradeoffs and manage stakeholder expectations across teams with competing priorities.
Reduce time-to-debug, deploy experiments, and access data by improving tooling and processes.
Drive reuse and scalability of capabilities across reference vehicles and customer programs; minimize one-off configurations.
Improve consistency between internal development environments and customer-operated workflows.
