About The Position

Wingstop is seeking a Technical Product Manager to align AI and data investments with business priorities. You will own product definition for Wingstop’s applied AI office defining the problems worth solving, the metrics that prove value, and the roadmap that connects data science capability to business outcomes. This role sits between business stakeholders and a technical team of AI engineers, data scientists, and data engineers. You will be accountable for making sure what we build gets adopted and delivers measurable value. This role is based at the Global Support Center in Dallas, TX.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Analytics, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • 6+ years in product ownership, technical product management, or business systems analysis
  • 3+ years owning data, analytics, or AI/ML products end to end
  • Working technical fluency in machine learning and AI and able to assess feasibility and challenge approaches without writing production code
  • Comfortable writing SQL and exploring data independently
  • Experience with Agile tooling (Jira, Azure DevOps) and Agile delivery at scale
  • Experience building business cases and measuring post-launch value
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication across technical and executive audiences
  • Able to say no, sequence tradeoffs, and defend prioritization decisions
  • Strong facilitation, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
  • Bias toward outcomes over output
  • High ownership and accountability mindset

Nice To Haves

  • CSPO, SAFe POPM, or an equivalent Agile product certification is a plus
  • Familiarity with cloud data platforms and modern data architecture
  • Restaurant, retail, or multi-unit consumer environment is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Own and prioritize the product backlog for the Applied AI and Data Science portfolio
  • Partner with leaders across business including Operations, Digital, Supply Chain, Marketing, and Finance to identify and validate AI use cases
  • Define success metrics and business cases for each initiative; measure and report realized impact
  • Write clear requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for technical delivery teams
  • Run intake, prioritization, and roadmap communication for AI and data requests across the enterprise
  • Lead sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning with engineering and data science
  • Drive adoption in partnership with change management, training, and operations
  • Manage stakeholder expectations on scope, timeline, and the realistic capability of AI systems
  • Coordinate dependencies across Data Engineering, BI, Enterprise Technology, and vendor partners
  • Maintain product documentation, model inventory, and lifecycle decisions (sustain, improve, retire)
