Technical PM
About The Position
This is a 12+ month contract role for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) who will be responsible for managing vendors and integrations within a retail environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical program management skills and the ability to quickly ramp up on retail systems. If the candidate has retail experience, they should understand merchandising systems, POS, and store systems, and how they interact. Candidates lacking basic knowledge of retail systems are not a fit. The role involves defining scope, building and managing timelines, tracking deliverables, and driving accountability across external partners. The candidate typically comes from a Technical/IT background that moved into program/project management, or a Product background with strong technical exposure.
Requirements
- Proven experience functioning as a Technical Program Manager (TPM)
- Strong technical program management skills
- Experience managing 15+ vendors and integrations
- Experience defining scope across vendors
- Experience building and managing timelines
- Experience tracking deliverables closely
- Experience driving accountability across external partners
- Ability to quickly ramp on retail systems and landscape
- If claiming retail experience: understanding of merchandising systems, POS, and store systems, and how they interact within a retail environment
