About The Position
The OpenClaw Foundation is seeking a Technical Partnerships & Program Manager to serve as the technical bridge between the Foundation, its strategic partners, and the broader open-source community. This is a highly cross-functional role focused on enabling successful technical collaboration across organizations. You'll partner closely with the Executive Director, Strategic Partnerships Lead, Engineering, Developer Relations, and Product teams to ensure organizations adopting, integrating with, or contributing to OpenClaw have an exceptional technical experience. You'll guide partners through technical discovery, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, unblock complex engineering efforts, and translate ecosystem feedback into actionable priorities for the Foundation. You'll also help facilitate technical working groups and interoperability efforts that advance OpenClaw's mission. Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Technical Partnerships, Partner Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Developer Relations Engineering, or a related technical role.
- Experience coordinating complex technical initiatives across multiple teams or organizations.
- Strong understanding of APIs, developer platforms, distributed systems, or AI infrastructure.
- Comfortable engaging deeply with engineering teams and discussing technical architecture, integrations, and system design.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to drive execution across diverse stakeholders.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong organizational skills and a bias toward execution in fast-moving environments.
- Willingness to travel periodically for partner meetings, conferences, and Foundation events.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in open-source software or developer ecosystems.
- Experience with AI infrastructure, agent frameworks, or developer platforms.
- Experience at a technology foundation, standards body, or consortium.
- Familiarity with open-source governance and technical community building.
- Experience coordinating cross-company engineering initiatives.
- Existing relationships within AI infrastructure, cloud platforms, or developer communities.
- Passion for open-source AI and the future of agentic systems.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Strategic Partnerships Lead and Executive Director during technical conversations with prospective Foundation members and ecosystem partners.
- Understand partner architectures, AI infrastructure, deployment models, and technical objectives.
- Evaluate technical fit and identify opportunities for collaboration around OpenClaw, interoperability, and emerging standards.
- Represent the Foundation in technical discussions with AI labs, cloud providers, enterprises, research organizations, and developer communities.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for strategic ecosystem partners.
- Help organizations successfully adopt, integrate with, and contribute to the OpenClaw platform.
- Coordinate technical onboarding, architecture reviews, and developer enablement efforts.
- Work alongside partner engineering teams and Foundation maintainers to troubleshoot technical challenges and remove adoption barriers.
- Coordinate cross-functional execution across Engineering, Developer Relations, Product, and community contributors to ensure successful partner initiatives.
- Lead complex, cross-functional technical initiatives spanning multiple internal teams and external organizations.
- Develop project plans, coordinate milestones, manage dependencies, and proactively identify technical risks.
- Drive partner-driven initiatives from planning through successful execution.
- Ensure technical collaborations remain aligned, on schedule, and positioned for long-term success.
- Gather technical feedback from partners, contributors, and community members.
- Translate ecosystem needs into clear product requirements and engineering priorities.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to improve APIs, SDKs, developer tooling, documentation, and interoperability.
- Help inform the Foundation's technical roadmap based on real-world adoption and community feedback.
- Support technical working groups focused on interoperability and open standards.
- Facilitate collaboration across Foundation members, AI labs, infrastructure providers, and open-source contributors.
- Help coordinate RFCs, technical proposals, design discussions, and cross-organization initiatives.
- Represent OpenClaw at technical conferences, ecosystem events, and community meetings.
