Requirements

  • Minimum 2 year of work experience IT Infrastructure Operations
  • Server Operating Systems
  • Infrastructure Event Management
  • One or more networking/Linux/cloud certifications: Cisco, Juniper, Redhat, CompTIA, LPI, AWS, GCP, Azure
  • Experience with deploying and troubleshooting network infrastructure e.g. Wireless Access Points, Layer 3 Switches and Routers
  • High School or GED

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced proficiency in IT Infrastructure Operations is required.
  • Advanced proficiency in TCP/IP Networking is recommended.
  • Advanced proficiency in Server Operating Systems, Infrastructure Event Management, and Wireless Networking Technologies is suggested.
  • Experience with deploying and maintaining IT Infrastructure at scale
  • Experience with using IT Infrastructure Management tools e.g. UniFi and Meraki
  • Ability to work independently and as a collaborative partner
  • Build strong relationships and navigate through cross-functional discussions to successful outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Providing ongoing technical support and maintenance of production and development systems and software products, both remotely and onsite.
  • Supporting configured services running on various platforms while adhering to defined operating models and processes.
  • Providing hardware and software support, implementing technology at the operating system level across all server and network areas, and for specific software solutions, vendors, and brands.
  • Performing basic and intermediate level troubleshooting.
  • Performing independently and becoming a subject matter expert.
  • Active participation and contribution in team discussions.
  • Providing solutions to work-related problems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Document technical processes and solutions to improve knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Stay updated with the latest technology trends and best practices to ensure optimal service delivery.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of new technologies and processes to improve operational efficiency.
