About The Position

WSFA/WCOV is seeking a Part-Time Technical Media Producer (MCO). This position offers a great opportunity for a motivated individual with a technical aptitude who is passionate about media production and technical excellence. The scheduled shift is on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 am - 8:00 pm, with occasional coverage for other shifts at various times.

Requirements

• Must demonstrate a good working knowledge of computers and ability to work with equipment in a complex technical environment.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Must be able to troubleshoot / problem solve and work with strict deadlines.
• Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple events simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

• Broadcast experience is a plus but not required.
• College degree or technical education is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operation of "on air" television equipment and monitoring for quality control
• Record and playback programs with commercial insertion in a multi-channel, automated broadcast environment.
