About The Position
WLFI is looking for a full-time Technical Media Producer (TMP). This role involves hands-on work in a state-of-the-art control room, responsible for managing live and recorded local news content for broadcast and online streaming. The TMP will also handle the ingestion of daily programming, commercials, and promos, as well as monitoring on-air signals.
Requirements
- Flexible schedule (shifts include mornings, afternoons, nights, weekends, and some holidays)
- Excellent communicator and problem solver
- Must be calm and composed under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations
- Detail-oriented and organized
Nice To Haves
- Live newscast/production work is a plus
- Experience with Ross Overdrive, ENPS, Adobe Creative Suite, Canon cameras, and DJI equipment is a plus
Responsibilities
- Responsible for commercial ingestion as well as playout for CBS and CW feeds
- Operating Ross Overdrive during live and recorded news segments as well as breaking news events
- Assisting the news in creating graphics for newscasts
- May assist in commercial production shoots
- May assist in live event productions
- May be needed to fill in on alternate shifts
