About The Position

WLFI is looking for a part-time Technical Media Producer/Master Control Operator. This role involves hands-on work in a state-of-the-art control room, responsible for airing live and recorded local news content on television and streaming platforms. The operator will also manage and monitor on-air signals and ingest daily programming, commercials, and promos.

Requirements

• Flexible schedule (shifts include weekend days and evenings, and some holidays)
• Excellent communicator and problem solver
• Experience with Ross Overdrive, ENPS, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Must be calm and composed under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations
• Detail-oriented and organized

Nice To Haves

• Live newscast/production work is a plus

Responsibilities

• Responsible for playout for CBS and CW feeds
• Operating Ross Overdrive during live and recorded news segments as well as breaking news events
• Assisting the news in creating graphics for newscasts
• May assist in commercial production shoots
• May assist in live event productions
• May be needed to fill in on alternate shifts
