About The Position

Amphenol High Speed Products Group is the market leader for high speed, high bandwidth electrical connectors for the Telecom/Datacom market (Mobile Networks, Storage, Servers, Routers, Switches, etc.). Our products help to enable the electronics revolution and remain a key enabler for all the major Tier 1 OEMs globally. Our global headquarters is located in Nashua, NH and we have design, sales, and manufacturing locations globally. We are currently seeking Technical Marketing Engineer to join our team. Amphenol is seeking a Technical Marketing Engineer to play a pivotal role in enabling the adoption of next-generation interconnect solutions. A centerpiece of this role will be the creation and delivery of rack-level system mock-ups and live demonstrations for AI/ML applications, showing how Amphenol's broad portfolio of copper and optical interconnects comes together to power scalable, high-performance infrastructure. These rack-level demonstrations will serve to accelerate ecosystem adoption, and industry partners, helping to validate new architectures, serve as customer proof points, and promote emerging technologies across the data center and AI landscape. You will work closely with hyperscale customers, ecosystem leaders, and internal marketing and engineering teams to translate technology innovation into compelling demonstrations that highlight Amphenol's differentiated value. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who wants to combine technical expertise with market influence, directly shaping how data centers, AI fabrics, and high-performance computing systems are designed, deployed, and adopted worldwide.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience in an Applications Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Technical Marketing role
Hands-on experience with data center infrastructure, hardware integration, networking, and storage.
Conversant in Ethernet, PCIe, and related standards documentation.
Ability to script or automate demo environments (Python, Bash, Ansible, etc.) a plus.
Experience with interoperability testing tools and platforms.
Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate complex technology in simple, compelling ways.
Experience supporting trade shows or technical marketing campaigns is strongly preferred.
Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Comfortability and interest to prepare technical papers and present to large audiences.
Proficiency with virtualization technologies, orchestration, and cloud-native environments.
Experience supporting trade shows or technical marketing campaigns is strongly preferred.
Certification/extensive knowledge in Ethernet, PCIe, or other relevant standards.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain rack-level demonstration environments that showcase company products and solutions.
Partner with product management, solution architects, and field engineers to develop demonstration scenarios that highlight product value.
Support marketing campaigns, customer roadshows, and trade shows by preparing and deploying technical demo environments.
Collaborate with the events and marketing teams to ensure demos are production-ready, reliable, and visually impactful.
Work with industry partners, customers, and internal teams to ensure interoperability and standards alignment.
Collect and integrate customer and field feedback to continuously improve demonstration effectiveness.
Work closely with Marketing teams to prepare and release promotional materials for new standards and technology aligned with major industry events (e.g. DesignCon, OFC, OCP Summit, etc.)
Act as a technical subject matter expert during customer-facing events and presentations.
Contribute to technical papers and represent Amphenol at conferences.
Manage logistics of demo environments, including hardware setup, software integration, and remote monitoring.
