About The Position

This position is contingent upon award of a government contract. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) is expanding its capabilities in native mobile application development to maintain and enhance existing mobile applications, develop mobile versions of key portfolio applications, and create mobile-first solutions. The Software Engineering Branch (SEB) within the NIAID Office of Cyber Infrastructure and Computational Biology (OCICB) is seeking to streamline and automate business processes, reduce reliance on legacy systems, and enhance workforce readiness. SEB is committed to expanding its mobile application portfolio to support NIH’s modernization efforts, deliver high-quality services, and advance NIH’s mission through optimized, resilient, and modern technology solutions.

Requirements

Microsoft Visual Studio 2022 (or later)
Microsoft SQL Server (2019 or later)
C# Programming Language
Azure DevOps for Project Management and Configuration Management
Git for Source Control of new Applications
React Native and Expo for mobile front-end development
React.js or Vue.js for front-end development
10+ years of hands-on software development experience designing and developing enterprise applications using Microsoft Tech Stack.
5+ years of experience leading technical teams in Agile environments.
3+ years of hands-on experience building large scalable web and mobile applications using React.
Proven expertise with cloud platforms.
