About The Position

The Onshore Technical Lead is responsible for driving end‑to‑end production support across AWS cloud services and core banking systems. The role ensures high availability, rapid incident response, platform reliability, and strong technical leadership across distributed teams.

Requirements

  • 8-10 years of experience in IT Operations, production support and leadership roles
  • 4-5 years of relevant technical skills experience
  • Experience within the banking or financial services industry, with strong exposure to cards and payments
  • Cloud environment experience - AWS Cloud Services
  • Proven track record leading end-to-end production support in complex technology environments.
  • Hands-on technical guidance to onshore/offshore teams
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • Java/JEE, Spring, Spring Boot, Microservices
  • SOAP & REST APIs
  • AWS Cloud Services: Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, DynamoDB
  • Highly Preferred: Dynatrace
  • Strong debugging, optimization, and production engineering capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end production support across AWS cloud platforms and core banking infrastructure, ensuring system stability, SLA compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Manage P1/P2 incident handling, coordinate with cross‑functional teams, drive rapid service restoration, and conduct post‑incident reviews to strengthen resilience.
  • Maintain and enhance monitoring, alerting, capacity planning, and performance baselines across cloud and banking systems.
  • Provide hands‑on technical guidance to onshore/offshore teams, manage shifts and on‑call rotations, and collaborate with vendors and L3 teams for timely issue resolution.
