In support of our various efforts, we have developed the Onyx Data Management Toolkit, a combination of Agile Development principles, COTS Integration, and custom software, to deliver flexible, cost-effective solutions to a variety of Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and Law Enforcement agencies. This position is contingent upon award. The Technical Lead / Systems Architect leads the technical execution of the TRDM modernization. The role owns the architecture roadmap, technology selection, technical risk management, and integration with USTRANSCOM J6 Enterprise Architects. The Tech Lead is the primary technical interface to the Government Functional Manager and represents the program at Engineering Milestone Reviews.

Requirements

• Active SECRET clearance (Tier 3)
• US Citizen
• Bachelor's degree
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect — Professional
• 10+ years enterprise software/systems architecture
• 5+ years AWS architecture
• Demonstrated cloud migration leadership (legacy to cloud-native)

Nice To Haves

• Master's degree
• CISSP
• AWS Certified Data Engineer
• Prior DoD JITC certification experience
• Data mesh implementation experience

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end TRDM modernization architecture
• Lead migration design from Oracle on-prem to PostgreSQL / Amazon Aurora on AWS GovCloud
• Define containerization approach for legacy SOA web services
• Design CI/CD pipelines per DoD Enterprise DevSecOps Reference Design
• Coordinate with USTRANSCOM J6 Enterprise Architects on DODAF artifacts
• Lead architecture artifacts for JITC interoperability certification
• Mentor cloud engineering, DBA, and data architect teams
• Represent the contractor at System Requirements Reviews, Design Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews
