About The Position

Hanson Professional Services Inc. is seeking a Technical Lead for their Civil Site Group in Jacksonville, FL. This role involves leading site development projects from concept to completion, ensuring innovation and excellence. The Technical Lead will be responsible for developing scopes, providing strategic vision, and directing civil sitework, stormwater management, and utility design. They will also ensure regulatory compliance, produce high-quality technical documentation, mentor and train design staff, and collaborate with other Hanson markets. The position involves designing for municipalities, educational facilities, and commercial/industrial developments, addressing site grading, ADA compliance, stormwater systems, and utilities, as well as conducting QA/QC reviews and managing construction assistance and administration.

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (advanced degree preferred)
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in site design
  • Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
  • Experience in municipal engineering preferred; federal market experience a plus
  • Experience in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Hydraflow, Vehicle Tracking, AutoTURN desired
  • Strong command of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams
