About The Position

We are on the hunt for an experienced Technical Lead - Data Platform & Engineering to lead the design, development, and automation of enterprise data platform solutions. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for an individual who enjoys building scalable, high-performing systems while driving engineering best practices. The ideal candidate will combine strong development expertise with database and infrastructure automation experience to deliver reliable, enterprise-grade solutions.

Requirements

8–10 years of hands-on development and engineering experience, including experience in a Technical Lead capacity.
Proven experience designing and implementing highly available, secure, and scalable database/data platform solutions supporting enterprise workloads.
Strong knowledge of relational database technologies such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or similar platforms.
Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management, and infrastructure automation practices.
Hands-on scripting and development experience supporting database platforms, infrastructure automation, configuration management, or related engineering activities.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and automation frameworks.
Experience in one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C#, or similar enterprise development technologies.
Experience supporting enterprise data platforms and distributed systems.
Experience working in large-scale enterprise or manufacturing environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and support of enterprise data platform solutions.
Develop and implement infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management best practices.
Design, optimize, and maintain relational database environments, including PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, or similar technologies.
Build scalable automation solutions to improve deployment, reliability, and operational efficiency.
Design and implement highly available, secure, and scalable data platform solutions supporting enterprise workloads.
Collaborate with architects, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to define and deliver technical solutions.
Provide hands-on technical leadership, perform code reviews, and mentor development team members.
Establish and promote engineering best practices, coding standards, and performance optimization.
Participate in solution design, technical planning, troubleshooting, and production support.
Participate in OP monthly team meetings and participate in team-building efforts.
Contribute to OP technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base.
Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested.
