About The Position

The Technical Lead – Capital Upgrade Program provides deep technical expertise
and strategic support for Critical Infrastructure Asset Replacement projects
across the global data center portfolio. This role is instrumental in guiding
capital equipment lifecycle decisions, evaluating emerging technologies and
supporting development and implementation of a global program to identify and
replace at risk critical infrastructure assets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Facilities Engineering (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years in data center infrastructure, critical systems, or facilities engineering and construction.
• Strong understanding of power systems, cooling technologies, and building automation.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Global Tech Ops function in the implementation and management of the Global Critical Infrastructure Program.
• Partner with design consultants, construction managers, and OEM partners to ensure alignment to specifications
• Review and advise on design packages for critical infrastructure replacements.
• Validate technical solutions against global standards and operational requirements.
• In collaboration with Regional Operations teams, provide risk assessments and recommendations for at-risk asset replacement.
• Act as a technical authority for infrastructure upgrades and critical asset approvals.
• Provide guidance on system reliability, maintainability, and lifecycle planning.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, DC&E (Design, Engineering & Construction), Solutions Engineering and Portfolio Operations to ensure proper decisions around equipment selection.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to evaluate new infrastructure technologies for feasibility and deployment.
