About The Position

This is a full-time, remote role for a Technical Lead specializing in App Development. The primary focus will be on Java Backend development, with expertise required in Kafka and Cassandra. The role involves working with modern technologies in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, requiring an engineering and consulting mindset to assist clients with their transformation goals. Collaboration, strong communication, and active participation in discussions with business customers, architects, and team members are essential.

Requirements

10 years of experience in Java, core Java, and advanced Java concepts and technologies.
Software development experience.
Hands-on experience in Kafka Connect and Kafka messaging event streams.
Experience in Java (Spring Boot) and Microservices.
Experience in writing JUnit Test cases.
Experience in cloud platforms like PCF, AWS.
Experience with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, MongoDB, and a solid understanding of when to use each.
Expertise in OpenShift Kubernetes.
Expertise in non-relational document databases.
Willingness to learn new technologies.
Enjoy working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Possess an engineering and consulting mindset.
Solid understanding of Agile methodology, estimation techniques, and key ceremonies.
Highly collaborative working style.
Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead Java Backend development with expertise in Kafka and Cassandra.
Utilize Kafka Connect and Kafka messaging event streams.
Develop using Java (Spring Boot) and Microservices.
Write JUnit Test cases.
Work with cloud platforms like PCF and AWS.
