About The Position

The Tetra Pak Internship Program is your pass to the professional world, offering you hands-on experience and valuable networking opportunities. You will experience real situations in the corporate world and develop on a personal and professional level. Upon joining our team, you will have the support of a network of colleagues and will be instructed and evaluated by a mentor, who will guide and accompany you in your day-to-day activities. In addition, we have an onboarding program designed to better prepare you to put your full potential into action. We are offering three (3) technical internships based in Denton, TX. Salary Range: $22-$25 / hour Please note, for internships that will be within a factory environment, you will be walking around a production facility frequently which will require you to wear steel toe safety shoes, wear a company provided uniform, wear proper protective equipment (hair net, ear plugs, safety glasses), and remove any jewelry. All safety gear is provided by Tetra Pak, including a shoe voucher for the intern to purchase safety shoes. Tetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas, relocation, or housing for these positions.

Requirements

  • Foundational knowledge or hands-on experience in calibration.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform tools, including Power BI and Power Apps.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications is a plus.
  • Current enrollment in college, ideally in your last two (2) years of College, and you are interested in taking your career to the next level.
  • Suggested majors: Engineering, Metrology or Food Science

  • Availability to work Full time during summer.

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications is a plus.
  • Ideally know some Power BI, Power Point and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Handle shipping and receiving of calibration kits.
  • Maintain and organize calibration kits.
  • Help extract and manage data from databases to create equipment lists.
  • Assist with creating calibration procedures and forms
  • Participating in Continuous Improvement activities in the factory.
  • Being part of the meetings and discussions from our Kaizens and WCM Pillars.
  • Collaborate and support our Reward and Recognition initiatives.
  • Drive some Visual Management Projects.
  • Support initiatives aimed at achieving Perfect Pallet, Perfect Order, and Productivity objectives.
  • Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and product quality.
  • Assist with process improvement projects within the finishing area to enhance workflow and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, and continuous improvement teams to implement solutions that reduce waste and rework.
  • Collect, track, and analyze operational data to support decision-making and performance improvement efforts.
